I am a freelance percussionist and private lesson teacher in Lexington, KY. I currently play with several groups in the region, covering the genres of funk, soul, blues, and rock. See my calendar and links pages for details...
I have previously held teaching positions both as band director and percussion director in Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, and Kentucky. These positions have ranged from teaching 5th grade beginners through college level students. I have also been fortunate to have spent several years performing and instructing at the div. I Drum Corps level- along side of Paul Rennick, Tom Float, Jeff Moore, and Jim Yakas. Recent performances have included performing with Bob Becker at Colorado State University in 2006 and performing with Bill Bachman at the 2006 PASIC convention in Austin, TX. In addition to marching and concert performances, I have played and recorded (in studio) drum set for groups in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, and Kentucky. I am a proud member of the Percussion Arts Society and a member of the Vic Firth Education Team.
